Ephibian's DOT.CHE Delivery to the Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) Povides Measurable Improvement
Phoenix, AZ-- January, 2004: The Donor and Community Exchange (dot.che) software that Ephibian built for the Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) is producing outstanding, measurable benefits for the client and the community.
ACF recently announced --- via their public website --- that the Ephibian-built software, dot.che, which powers the community foundation’s website, www.azfoundation.org, helped their Programs Department achieve the following process improvements:
- Reduced the process of its competitive grant cycle from four months to 65 days
- Processed almost 1000 grant applications in the first seven months of 2003
- More grant applications than ever were submitted
- More grants were made to other nonprofits in far less time
- Overall in 2002-03, the Programs Department experienced a 185 percent increase in the number of competitive grant applications received, and a 46 percent decrease in turnaround time between grant submission and award notification
- A 50 percent increase in the amount of dollars granted in 2003 compared to 2001
The online tool, developed by Ephibian for the ACF, is useful not only for the Foundation, but also for funders in Arizona. At the time of the announcement, The Arizona Republic was wrapping up its seventh grant cycle through ACFs website. ACF reported that the Office of the Arizona Attorney General, Foundation for Financial Literacy, and Social Venture Partners had also, each, completed multiple grant cycles on www.azfoundation.org.
